From a wholesome show like 7th Heaven to allegedly attacking his girlfriend, Andrew Keegan won't be making any friends at the pearly gates.

The actor, who you also may recognize from the�cute movie 10 Things I Hate About You (he was also in a bunch of�episodes�of Party of�Five in the 90s)�has been slapped with a restraining order by his former girlfriend.

According to E! Online, model Kristi Parrales�alleges that Andrew "physically attacked" her�twice, and "threw me across the living room in front of witnesses." She also claims that her former love stalks her at work, "calling her names and giving her evil looks."�

We agree -- that does sound creepy.

What is it with all of these young guys getting violent with their girlfriends? Where are they learning that this is�okay?

Not long ago, Twilight's Kellan Lutz was rumored to be one of the prime contenders for the role of Conan the Barbarian in the upcoming film by director Marcus Nispel. Though Lutz didn't get the role (it went to Jason Momoa) that was perhaps an indicator that we'll be seeing more of the actor in action-oriented films beyond Twilight. And now he's been cast in War of the Gods, the mythological tale by visually extravagant director Tarsem Singh. Variety reports that Lutz has been cast as Poseidon. Variety reports that Lutz has been cast as Poseidon. “Aren’t you a little young for Greek god?”

He’ll work alongside (or opposite, in some cases) Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto in the story of ” young warrior Theseus (Cavill) who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind.”

The film is based on Jason Keller’s recent script draft. Tarsem has described the film as such:

…basically, Caravaggio meets Fight Club. It’s a really hardcore action film done in Renaissance painting style. I want to see how that goes; it’s turned into something really cool. This guy who I really love, who’s the only one person in it right now, is the brother in The Tudors, Henry Cavill. I’m going for a very contemporary look on top of that so I’m kind of going with, you know, Renaissance time with electricity. So it’s a bit like Baz Luhrman doing Romeo + Juliet in Mexico; it’s just talking a particular Greek tale and half contemporising it and telling it.

There was a rumor that the title was being changed to Dawn of War, but that evidently went by the wayside. Despite the fact that Clash of the Titans and Percy Jackson are already on the map with new interpretations of Greek mythology, I expect Tarsem’s to stand out, at least in a visual sense.

The closing ceremony for Fitness Zone's Sports Charity Carnival was full of life and colour yesterday, even more so as it was attended by its owner, local born Chinese musician, Wu Chun.

Guest of honours at the event were Pg Hj Md Yasin Pg Hj Ahmad from KACA as well as three senior officers from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Pg Hj Md Jaffari Hj Mahadi, Hj Sabtu Hj Sidup and Mr Ng Thing Chong.

Following the arrival of the guest of honours, the event began with a charity auction where sports equipment used throughout the carnival such as footballs personally signed by Wu Chun were sold and proceeds from the auction amounting to $4, 247 were donated to the KACA Association.

The event then saw some entertaining dance performances by a group that refer to themselves as HUM prior to the welcoming speech which was delivered by Wu Chun. He later presented a mock cheque to a representative from KACA.

Shortly after, the prize presentation began where in the Zone Race, 'Walter Team' emerged as the winners walking away with a full year of unlimited passport membership from Fitness Zone worth $3,840 for four individuals, one month for friends worth $600, a night stay at the deluxe room of Holiday Lodge Hotel, a buffet dinner at Rizqun Coffee House for four, a 10 per cent discount voucher from Pelangi De' Mutiara Tourist Square Sdn Bhd, $250 worth of fitness-link vouchers along with a certificate of participation for Zone Race Level 2, a T-shirt and a limited edition Fitness Zone cap.

The first runner-up was the '007 Team' who won themselves, six-months passport membership from Fitness Zone worth $2280 for four persons, weekend hi-tea at Rizqun Coffee Shop for four, $50 voucher from Lili's Lingerie and a night's stay in a standard room at the Holiday Lodge Hotel.

Team Zaibatsu who came third won themselves a three-month passport membership from Fitness Zone worth $1320 for four people, weekend hi-tea at Rizqun Coffee Shop for four and $50 voucher from Lili Lingerie.

In the Futsal category, first place went to Kota JRFC while Rakan Harmoni FC came second and Pascal Team FC was placed third. The futsal teams won $300, $200 and $100 respectively plus a trophy and certificates while Kota JRFC's Fajir Ismail received the best player award.

Shaharuddin and Airwan won the badminton competition by coming in first. Second place went to Edi Farhan and Hj Md Zul Fizal while third place went to Fang Bo Yaun and Andy. The winners were awarded cash prizes amounting to $200, $150 and $100 respectively along with medals and certificates.

The basketball contest saw the Bukit Ladang team emerging as overall champions with the Chevrolet and Wayne teams coming in at second and third place srespectively. The three teams were also awarded cash prizes amounting to $300, $200 and $150 as well as medals and certificates of participation.

I recently stumbled across the above photo. At first I didn't know what it was. Once I figured it out, I discovered it's the most insane invention ever created: Hero the Hot Dog Steamer!

I don't think even the late great Billy Mays and all his Just-For-Men glory could get me to buy one of these things! It's a dog that cooks hot dogs and barks when they are done!!!! How insane can you get?

After finding the photo of the barking wiener warmer, I did a quick youtube search and found a video of it being hocked on the home shopping channel! You must watch this video.

Oz Garcia, nutritionist to stars like Hilary Swank, Kim Cattrall, Wynona Ryder and Heidi Klum, dishes on how to get -- and keep -- that red carpet body.

Follow these simple steps to look and feel your best for a big day, with a sample menu and foods to snack on:

Night before:

7pm- Get a massage to reduce bloat, tone muscles and help relax the body. Massage reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol, while boosting the feel-good hormones serotonin and dopamine. This will also help lull you to slumber.

11pm- Go to sleep- you need to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night to recharge your brain and reset your internal metabolic clock.

Day of:

7am- Wake up and go for a 40 minute jog or brisk walk OUTSIDE- you need the sunlight for Vitamin D so you can release dopamine into your system- an instant energy boost with lasting effects, it motivates you to have a healthy day

8am- Have Greek yogurt with berries and prepare yourself a giant pitcher of water with lemon (to flush out extra bloat) that you will have on hand all morning

9am- The glam squad arrives, discuss the look for the day over green tea

11am- Before makeup is done, have a salad with 4oz of lean protein and another cup of green tea

1pm- The dress is about to go on, grab a fistful of almonds to stave off hunger for the next 4 hours

2:30pm- Indulge in a square of dark chocolate in the limo- packed with anti-oxidants, this treat helps you to not feel deprived going into the big event. Now you won’t be tempted by the first thing you see!

Diet:
You have to be militant about cutting out ALL wheat products (not carbs, but wheat.) This will help speed up your metabolism, bring down bloat and increase energy. It’s the quickest and easiest way to get lean.

Micro-meals:
Instead of having a few large meals throughout the day, eat six small meals. Breaking your diet down into small meals will help regulate blood sugar and keep you from feeling too hungry at any point during the day

Sample Menu:
1. Greek yogurt with berries
2. Hard-boiled egg or some nuts (almonds)
3. Large salad with 4 oz of lean animal protein (fish, chicken or turkey)
4. High protein whey shake
5. Dinner with lots of vegetables sautéed in olive oil with 4 oz of fish
6. Dark chocolate 70% to 80% pure coco

Beverages:
Lots of water
Four cups of green tea daily
A glass of wine at night

The story for me is quite shallow and boring. I guess young people will like it and would be interested to watch it, simply because for their love to watch Robet Patisson.

"The online social landscape today sort of feels to me like search did in 1999. It’s a mess, but we don’t complain much about it because we don’t know there’s a better way.

You might be sick of hearing this from me, but strongly believe that Facebook is the next Google. It took me a while to "get religion," but now I have it. Just as Google brought a simple way to search the web, my observation is that Facebook is poised to do the same for organizing and - this is key - centralizing social content

Google will continue to dominate "pull." But Facebook will aggregate content, make it social and rule "push." Using our social circle it will surface content that we care about just when we want it - and allow us to comment on it all. As more people use Facebook to connect, share and create, a network effect takes over - and the system get even smarter.

Here's an example. In my newsfeed today I saw an item from CNN about Sarah Palin. Within minutes it had dozens of comments. Some 20 minutes later it had 300 comments. Now that pales in comparison to the 2775 comments (as of this writing) that the actual story on CNN.com has. However, over time through Facebook Connect, I suspect this to become more cohesive so that you can follow the conversation in either place.

Normally, I take between four and five pages of notes when I watch an episode of LOST. Tonight I took one page, and to me, this means there wasn’t a lot going on, other than more questions, mainly, how the hell does Jack suddenly have a son named David? Or how is it that Fo-man-chu from [...]

Normally, I take between four and five pages of notes when I watch an episode of LOST. Tonight I took one page, and to me, this means there wasn’t a lot going on, other than more questions, mainly, how the hell does Jack suddenly have a son named David? Or how is it that Fo-man-chu from The Temple has a son, too, and it just so happens both are at a piano audition? I honestly don’t even care at this point, either my migraine is too painful, or this show is slipping fast. Still, not enough notes means not enough plot lines to follow in my book, and either way that can’t be good.

Sure, we see Claire kill a man in cold blood, and hear her say she’ll kill Kate if she raised Aaron. Oops, she already did, so I guess we’ll see some girl on girl fighting later this season?

But, tonight’s episode isn’t really about a lighthouse, it is all about these people, really.

Father – You don’t have what it takes.

Son – I came here because I was broken. I thought this place could fix me.

Holy Spirit - You have what it takes.

But before we figure out what “having what it takes” means, we have to find out which one of these dudes is the evil one. And we have to see LOST writers throw in more bullshit stuff just to keep us guessing, which I’m getting real tired of these days.
